Off the Eaten Path

Aspirational and highly magnetic, this specific consumer group has an insatiable appetite for new and authentic experiences and a deep seated curiosity that drives all they do. Grand Egyptian Museum

The research and exploration process led to a rich identity inspired by the basic shapes of ancient Egyptian alphabets. The secondary colors were inspired by colorful ancient Egyptian jewelry design.

The Moment

The Moment Calendar was inspired by the ancient wisdom of Chinese Solar Terms and Ecclesiastes in Bible, which aim to express the reflection of impetuous society and remind people to know the season and to enjoy the moment. Therefore, there is a new design expression to present the past, now and future. Month is printed in the center of the page while date is shown on a gradient arc. Dates and arcs rotate clockwise around the center and fade away due to the translucent paper, which poetically draws a picture: the eternity of time is a series of the present moments. So, let’s enjoy The Moment.

Lazarus Effekt

The three information graphics serve as a basis to introduce the topic of the Lazarus-Effect. They include "The Six Major Mass Extinctions", "Death Watch of the Species", as well as an information graphic of the "Local Fern Plants and Flowering Plants" (based on the Rote Liste, 2018). The Lazarus Effect is based on the theme of the Lazarus-Effect, as coined by paleontologist David Jablonski. This pertains to the unintentional rediscovery (by accident, through expedition or through relocation projects) of a previously lost or considered extinct form of life.
