Bangkok
Bangkok is a pendant lamp inspired by the tiered architecture of ancient Thai temples. The silhouette was based on the temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok, restated in concise forms. Each lamp is formed of two or three glass elements set in tiers, recalling the light windows that fill Thai temples with light. Glossy tinted glass creates bright highlights on all sides, while a transparent version allows mixed compositions. LED boards with matte diffusers at the top and bottom produce soft diffused light.
Bangkok Pendant Lamp by Alexey Danilin was recognized as an exceptional representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bangkok Pendant Lamp received the Golden A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2024. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that recognizes outstanding design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
